Issue with beeswax soap

I'm hoping someone might have some insight into what has happened with my latest batch of a soap I've been making for years. Olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax and lye. I've never had a problem hitherto, but this time it traced as soon as the lye hit the oil, would not combine properly and is lumpy with free lye. Any thoughts?
It usually goes to trace very quickly due to the small amount of beeswax but this was instant. My only thought is that the room was very cold, and maybe that affected it.
And can I find a way to reclaim it? Thanks in advance.
