Premium Subscription Not Activated After Payment – Account Email Update

I would like to clarify that the subscription was purchased by my friend using his phone and his Google Play account on my behalf.

Here are the subscription details:
  • Old account email: [email protected]
  • Current account email: [email protected]
  • Google Play Order ID: GPA.3310-3358-1901-17817..0
  • Premium Yearly subscription
  • Active until June 25, 2027

Could you please check which account the subscription is linked to and help me activate it on my current account?

We do not have that ‘old account email’ in our records. I don’t see any payment on any account. Can you have your friend log in with his identifiers and simply change the email to yours? I can’t control your log in from your friend’s device unfortunately. Also, ask him to go into his google pay subscription and cancel the subscription, or it will also renew with his information.

When people use their device and Google Pay, we are ‘blind’ to it and cannot see it as they’ve logged in with their device. Without YOUR information attached to it, I cannot find it or fix it.

Unfortunately, I don’t know which account my friend used to make the payment. He only used his device to purchase the subscription for me.

It looks like I may have lost that subscription.

If I want to subscribe again now using my own phone, my own Google account, and my own payment method, is there anything I need to do first? Or can I simply purchase a new subscription?
 
No, as long as you are logged in with the same email address and password as your account credentials you would be all set. Some devices have the ability to create a private ID and email and that can create a problem if you use google or apple to log in if it’s different than your account information, so please just ensure you are logged in to your account the same way as your payment information is given.
