If you know the fatty acid profile, you can click Add New to put the oil into the database for your own use.

Oh no! Have you tried putting the container of FO into your mold? That will stop you from pouring your soap into the mold without FO. This trick doesn't work for designs that are layered into one pot before pouring, but it does work well for designs that are split into several different containers.

Hand-stirred 90 seconds. 2 seconds with SB went to very thick trace. EO blend is great with pine tar smell.

Yellow, Chromium Green, Blue-black. Poured at light trace - probably too thin.

Added a squirt of SL at the end.

I totally get that, and was happy to pay the fee to be a premium member here. I think it was just the notice issue that set people back. But you've fixed that now, so I think all should be well. I'll ask the person who reached out to me privately if she can get in touch with you directly...

Many of the mold sellers on Etsy will make a custom mold for you. The other possibility is to use soap dough with an extruder. Chass of Wild Plantanica and Glenda of Beautiful Soaps by Glenda both create and sell custom-made extruder disks.

If your recipe is low on cleansing, you probably won't need much SF at all. More SF reduces lather, which makes people add back more CO or PKO for more lather... which makes it more cleansing. So you end up chasing the result. The other issue may be that you need to find the oils that agree...

Great point, although I think finished soap is often much higher than 8-9. Because PH strips are notoriously inaccurate for testing, especially since most folks don't use them correctly, they think their soap is somewhere around 8, and it's really 10 or higher. Totally agree with Yooper. I try...
