To reproduce, add an additive to a recipe. I chose Activated Charcoal. Set the unit to "% of oils".
Put the cursor in the "amount" field.
Select all.
Type "0.25".
Click outside the field.
Click inside the field again and delete the "5" at the end (WITHOUT using select all to re-enter the value.)...
To reproduce, I made a complete recipe with oils, additives, custom additives, hybrid lye, and 1.2:1 liquid:lye ratio. I used grams for all units. Each additive is set to some fraction of a percent (for example 1.2 % of oils). Each additive in the recipe is set to "Add with fats" or "Add with...
To reproduce:
Add a custom additive. I called it "Test additive".
Set the suggested amount to 1 g per 1 kg of oils.
Click Save Additive.
Edit that test additive again.
