QR code question

I am interested in information on using qr codes on labels for pricing and possibly for inventory. Does anyone use the qr code maker in soapmaking friend to add to labels for pricing? Does the code created link to my inventory on smf? Can I use it to add up purchases at my pos and have customers pay the sale that way? Thanks to everyone.
