Master Batch with Hybrid Lye

When these features are used together, the lye and water calculations are way off and the liquid numbers are negative.

I don’t understand the answer. It’s kind of a red herring that sidesteps the problem, and no, its not too much water. That makes no sense.

The software shouldn’t produce numbers that are obviously wrong—not a little wrong, extremely wrong, by orders of magnitude.

But no, for what it’s worth, I don’t master batch both. I always master batch the NaOH. For shave soap I used a hybrid, as you do. KOH is not master batched.

You could just turn both features to easily reproduce the problem. Select MB for one or both lye types—doesn’t matter. I already know what the correct amounts are from the spreadsheet I use for some features SMF doesn’t have. Normally they come out the same, or very close.

Considere this a bug report. I have a workaround, but would like to see the product improved.

There used to be a lot of enthusiasm for this by the developer(s). Is that no longer the case?
