Laundry soap

I'd like to make laundry soap powder from grated homemade soap, borax, and washing powder (as I have seen in various recipes). Does anyone have experience making bar soap that is designed for this use? I've read that it should be 0-1% superfat, but what kind(s) of fat would be best for a maybe harsh but effective laundry cleaner? Thanks!!

I tend to use lard and coconut oil in my laundry soap and 1% superfat (just so it isn’t lye heavy).

Thanks! I was thinking same...when you use the calculator, are there specific qualities (cleansing, hardness?) that you have found are most important for laundry purposes? What is least important?
