error when trying to save a batch after editing inventory

hello
Whenever I try to save a batch (on my laptop), after changing inventory details (change oil amount from one supplier to the other) I can't save the batch, and get this error:
"A server error occurred during the API request. Please try again later."
When I'm leaving the inventory details unchanged no error occurs.
