Raw unrefined cocoa and shea butter is better or refined..????

I use unrefined but some use refined to minimize scents of the natural product. You can use whatever is most appropriate for you.

So I’ve been doing Palm Oil only soap bars. I use palm oil olein. This oil will give you a harder soap, meaning it will last longer. I suggest you set your Lye concentration at 45-50% to get a good lather out of your bar.

Thank you so much for your reply. Really appreciate. Another thing… i have been making soaps from last six months for personal use and gifting to friends and family… i am still confused which olive oil to use…. They say, Pomace is extracted using some chemicals… and extra virgin is a little costly and takes longer to trace….
Is there really any difference in the end product… or its more or less the same…
