im new to using this software but i paid for a year and so far I’ve had a lot of problems with how this runs. First big one I’ve had is i use goats milk instead of water but when i try to add it to a recipe it just adds it along with the water and messes up all the numbers so I can’t keep track of the cost in my inventory. is there a way to do this that I’m missing?

Yes, you can choose to either ADD the goat’s milk or substitute it for some or all of the other liquid like water by sliding the slider on the choice. For example, here is one of my recipes, my goat’s milk and honey soap.

First, here is where I slid over the slider for the liquid discount, to replace most of the water with milk:

Then you can see the calculation that results, since I’m using some of the milk to replace the water:

Thank you, I will try it again on my next one. I tried that once a week or two ago and it did the same thing but the app is beyond glitchy on my iPad so I'll give it another go

I tried it again on the site version, no different. Am i doing something wrong here?
the amounts i entered here is the exact amount of liquid the calculator told me to use

The original recipie that came out of the calculator told me I need 214.3g of liquid for this recipie, which i switched out for goats milk and coffee, 214.3g combined. Is this saying because im using goats milk i need to cut my liquids more than in half? Because that doesn't sound right to me

No, you shouldn’t have to cut liquids. I can’t see the whole recipe, what your water ratio is, or if it’s masterbatched but your liquids should be the same, unless you’ve added water somewhere else like in the lye mixture.

I'm back revisiting this as I'm trying it again and still not getting anywhere with these liquids. Here is my recipie and when i input the goats milk I selected "100% of liquids" and this is the result. I also tried inputting it manually as I did when I asked this question before and got the same results. The recicpie tells me how much liquid I need. I put the liquid in, discount it, and the numbers are whack

You are looking at the recipie. It's in the screenshot. The first one shows the recipie. The second one shows the screenshotted recipie but with me putting goat milk as 100% of the liquid, coming out negative. Ive been constantly playing arohnf with the recipie builder and punching stuff in and it happens every time because it doesnt work. Is there some sort of customer service i can contact, i can't find anything on the app but I foolishly paid for a whole year of this app

I am customer service and that’s why I need to dig deeper into the recipe and not just screenshots. I can’t see your settings, where the volumes are coming from, or why this is happening without being able to see what I need to share with the developer. A link or the name of the recipe would allow us to investigate the issue. Thank you!
