Just made this cylindrical mold using my 3d printer. I used a transparent filament so it shouldn't have any dyes in it. Also used a higher temperature filament to helpfully work with the heat the soap generates. Will let you all know how it works out. The first batch will be a Castile Soap.

That sounds awesome! Using a higher temp filament is a smart move. Can’t wait to hear how it holds up with the heat from saponification. Castile soap is a great choice for testing—hope it turns out great! 😊

And three cylinders of soap, will let them dry a little bit more before cutting them. The tall one was done in a 3d printed mold and the shorter ones in silicon molds. Wasn't sure I would get the tall one out of the 3d printed mold but it finally released. The soap is Castile and needs to set a long while before use.

That's excellent! If it's too hard to get out of the mold you cold use a thin plastic liner.
