I guess it was just the way I was taught. I think I remember hearing it would keep the ash off but later learned that would be another issue. I don't have that issue, thank goodness. I am just simply wondering how people cover their soap. nothing else.

I've been making soap for 20 years or so and have always pressed freezer paper onto my soap once it goes into the mold. Then I cover it with a towel and leave it for 24 hours. Since it is goats milk, I cannot leave it in longer in the mold or I have issues. My question is, how do you all cover...
