    I’ve never had an issue with the lye from BB. if you are concerned, maybe try Essential Depot.

    For cold process soap, always use lye concentration and try 33% to start. Do a lot of research and a good start is Brambleberry and soap queen. Good luck.

    So here are some screen shots. I’m on my iPad with updated iOS software. Copy recipe still only lets me change my lye concentration to 10 or 50, and please see the oils weights and percentage the program is doing. I resized from 4474 to 1000 on my oils. Help.

    Thank you very much. Sorry I was so stressed. All set with everything out to make 2 batches of soap and not having my recipes and calculations was so awful. I had to do some massive work arounds.

    So if I change the lye concentration, it gets stuck on 50 and will not change to anything else. I’m on an iPad and I am really upset with whatever is going on. 😡

    Why are the oils values truncated?

    What is going on with SMF? I am very unhappy! Now all the oils values are not displaying properly. Nothing will produce results. ARGH!
