OK, thanks. I think I was a member here first, but I think I must have heard about the other one from a forum here, maybe before this one had such a detailed program for entering product? Would that make sense? Although, now, it doesn't really matter. I just have to figure out what I am doing...

I am certainly not an expert but the first time I made Pine Tar soap, it seized before I could get it properly mixed and as well as lye pockets, it had streaks like this. Is it possible that you did not mix this batch as thoroughly as your past ones?

Is "longevity" just be stability of the oils? So, for example, if I am using an oil that does not have a long shelf life, then Longevity will be below acceptable? Or is it linked to hardness and how long the soap will last?

For some reason, I thought this group/program was associated with SoapMaker, but I cannot see how to transfer my info between them, so I am guessing... not? Unfortunately, I have all of my inventory entered in SoapMaker, and all of my recipes entered in Soapmaking Friend. Any advice?
