Costs Question

I have seen several times now that if I have an item that is part of a batch that costs less than $0.01, then it doesn’t calculate anything for it. So basically, it is not included in the cost of items so that becomes a black hole where the cost is never included and therefore eaten by the business. Is it possible to ensure that if it’s less than $0.01 that it can still be included by making it cost at least $0.01 in the calculations?

I'm not sure we could do that- how many decimal places do you need for the costs to include? Or is the cost so miniscule to need more than a fraction of a penny? The issue is that we have all sorts of currency internationally so changing to three or four decimals may create other issues with other customers. Or can you use a penny for those ingredients?

How do I just change it to 1 penny to ensure it is covered in my costs? Would it be possible to make that editable on batches to do that?
