Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well and healthy. I am Güneş, I live in Turkey. I have been interested in soap making for a while and I have been trying it. I am trying to look at English content since Turkish content is very limited. I came across your page and it is great that everyone is helping each other here. I want to be a female entrepreneur in my own country. I have made a few soaps but I did not get the result I wanted. Sometimes my soaps have small white dots on the inside. Sometimes they turn into soap very quickly. Unfortunately, I do not have time to shape them and I also have problems with coloring. The oils I can use are; coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil and shea butter. I do not have any other oils other than these unfortunately. Therefore, I have to create my own recipes, and at this point I am experiencing the problems I mentioned. I wrote to many Instagram influencers who are soap brands but no one responded. What can I do to make my soaps smooth? Can you please help me? I am uploading a photo of you.

Without knowing your process, it’s just a guess but you want to pour the soap batter sooner into the mold. You want to pour at a thin trace, before it sets up so much.

The small white dots are most likely steric acid spots, from a hard butter/oil.

Tarif.pngThis is my recipe.
Castor Oil 229 gr,
Olive Oil 225 gr,
Coconut Oil 332 gr,
Shea Butter 234 gr,
Water 337 gr,
Lye 144 gr,
Sodium lactate 8 gr
Water:Lye=2.34 : 1
Total weight: 1.500 gr

Hello everyone. I want to recommend you just the best site where I found a lot of interesting information about Chernobyl - https://chеrnobylstory.com/blog/is-chernobyl-still-radioactive/ , and so if you want to go on a tour of Chernobyl, then I recommend you this site, because there is a lot of useful information about this place!
For smoother soap, try 30% coconut, 10% castor, 60% olive oil, and 10-15% shea butter. Adjust ratios and keep experimenting. Good luck!
