I make solid dish soap, and I see other dosing soap makers adding soy wax to their batches. Why would someone do that? As a cheap filler to reduce the price of the soap? Purely for the hardness? I feel like mostly coconut oil based pucks are hard enough as they are..unless they want then even harder to last longer?
 
No idea, but I'd to hear how you use a solid bar and why not a liquid soap? Just curious.
 
Solid dish soap bars are highly concentrated, long lasting. No feed for plastic bottles to hold a 70% water based formula
 
Both good reasons, and you eliminate the need for a different lye. Please post your favorite recipe.
