Hi guys im new to this soap making thing and am using a melt and pour both clear glycerine base and goats milk. im trying to add lavender and it turned brown in my soaps please help me!

Hi guys im new to this soap making thing and am using a melt and pour both clear glycerine base and goats milk. im trying to add lavender and it turned brown in my soaps please help me!

Milk burns very easily- it sounds like it got hot. When I use milk in cold process, I freeze it because the lye will burn it. I don't do melt and pour, but it could be that the milk got hot when mixed in with your soap base.
