Hi soap makers I'm new to soap making. I have beef tallow,coconut oil and lye but the percentages are not adding up the hardness is above recommended value together with longevity but cleansing is still below recommended value what should I do.

A tallow/coconut oil soap will be hard, but there is nothing wrong with that.

Many great soaps are gentle and have low cleansing numbers. The numbers are there for a basic look at qualities of the soap but really aren’t a hard and fast rule. What is your recipe so far? We can help with some advice.
