Thanks! I was thinking same...when you use the calculator, are there specific qualities (cleansing, hardness?) that you have found are most important for laundry purposes? What is least important?

I'd like to make laundry soap powder from grated homemade soap, borax, and washing powder (as I have seen in various recipes). Does anyone have experience making bar soap that is designed for this use? I've read that it should be 0-1% superfat, but what kind(s) of fat would be best for a maybe...
