NOTE: My recipe in book calls for slightly more distilled water, at 12.15 oz.

- Glycerin 3.2 oz
- Fragrance 1.3 oz
- Melt oils & fats in crock pot, temperature should be between 160 and 170 degrees.
- Pour Lye Water into warm oils and blend – will THICKEN QUICKLY! (mashed potatoes)
- Keep crock pot on LOW with TOP ON, let rest for 15-20 min.
- Stir mixture by hand.
- REPEAT steps 3 & 4 a few times, keeping an eye on mixture to make sure it doesn't volcano and grow out of the pot. Don't let temp go over 200 degrees!
- Once soap is finished cooking (usually takes around an hour) stir in ADDITIVES like glycerin, fragrance, etc. Stir carefully.
- Scoop soap into containers or mold. Use funnels potentially, and carefully tap containers to get soap to settle down in. DO NOT COVER until soap has cooled!
