CLAY FACE SOAP

Mix Clay with EO then add about 30g of Distilled Water and mix well, let sit at least one hour up to over night to allow the CLAY to fully absorb the water and EO. Place in a well ventilated area because the smell can be intensified during this process. This also reduces the chances of acceleration and clumping.
When ready to begin soaping, dissolve CITRIC ACID in Distilled Water before adding LYE. Once completely dissolved add LYE and let cool. Once LYE water is cooled to at least 130 F (54 C) add SODIUM LACTATE. Allow to cool to room temp before moving on.
CLAY/EO mixture can be added to LYE water for a more vibrant color or at trace for more vibrant smell of the EO depending on your own preferences. For the soap in the picture I added to cooled lye water. Be aware that it will heat up your Lye water when added even if Lye water is at room temperature.
