Shaving Soap - Dual Lye Modified Cold Process w/Palm Oil 3"x23" Loaf Copy
Notes:
- Mix Titanium Dioxide with heated oils, blend well.
- Mix Kaolin Clay with lye water.
- Oil temp and lye water temps should be about 165 or so. Add lye water carefully to avoid volcanoes.
- Blending should be done off of the heat. Trace will go through applesauce, then like mashed potatoes, then a thin cake batter consistency.
- Add glycerin, sodium lactate, and fragrance oil after trace becomes like thin cake batter. Stir slowly to avoid splashing as mixture is still very hot.
