The Boondocks Soap Class

Put on your Safety Gear of Glasses & Gloves. Make sure your containers are heat proof. NEVER Use Aluminum or Glass to make soap.
In 1 container, using the scale, weigh the water amount needed. In another container, weigh the Lye Amount needed. Slowly add your Lye to your water in a Heat Proof container, Stirring lye/water mixture until perfectly clear. Allow to cool. Measure out your essential oils or Fragrance into a separate container.

• Melt your Tallow until completely clear.
• Still Wearing your Safety Gear, Slowly add your Lye/Water Mixture to the melted tallow. Now you stir until the mixture is Fully Mixed together. This can be sped up using an Immersion Blender, but it is Not necessary.
• Add in essential oils or Fragrance.
• Pour Into your Mold
• Wait Patiently for soap to be completely harden and cool. Then Remove from Mold and Cut into desired bars.
• Now, we wait some more. Curing Soap makes it the Best it can be. You can Safely use your soap after it is Fully Saponified within 24-48 hours. But you'll Love it if you wait for a Full 4 weeks. Cure time can take anywhere from 4 - 6 weeks depending on the water amount you use & the Humidity where its stored. Weigh your soap once you unmold it and cut into bars. Keep track of that weight. Once it stops loosing all its weight then it is a fully cured bar and luscious on the skin.
