Soothing Chamomile

Olive oil has been infusing with turmeric, smoked paprika, and a 1" long, 1/4" wide, piece of cinny for color and, maybe, slight fragrance, for almost 3 months as of the writing of this recipe (1/20/20).
Maybe it'll be a gift for my honorary nephew or niece when it's born. I'll put the gift in Carlos' hands when I next see him to pass it on.
Nta: I also used a strong chamomile infusion instead of water for lye solution. Although there was no sugar present, I froze the infusion without thinking, and it was a good thing because it meant the solution cooled faster and didn't change color when added to the fats. The soaps are a light honey/tan color still.
