Franklin’s Crown Soap #2

Notes:
Second crack at making Ben Franklin families’ Crown Soap. First version stayed closer to the original Franklin recipe with only Tallow and Bayberry wax. This version includes olive oil and caster oil to improve quality of the bars. I believe both oils were available in Boston in the 1700s. Bayberry wax is from Betterbee In Greenwich, New York. NOTE: Bayberry wax caused instantaneous seizure in cold process soap!
