10g (0.5% of oil weight) EDTA to water as a chelator
1g (0.05% of oil weight) BHT to oils as an antioxidant. Add to a heat tolerant oil and heat it up until BHT beads are melted
For ghost stripes: Mix NaOH initally with 263ml water and combine with fats. At light trace separate 1/3 of the batter and mix in an additional 175g water to the remaining 2/3s of the batter. Make your stripe

Fast moving. Especially the high concentration stuff for the ghost swirl. Don’t wait for trace. Once you have it well mixed (20seconds?) , split the batch and add the water and scent to the bigger batch. Pour it while you can. This batch went well. Time from adding the lye to putting it in the oven was about 3 minutes. Scented with 1.5% French lavender from Escentials of Australia
