-SAFETY GOOGLES
-RESPIRATORY MASK (A REGULAR SURGICAL MASK CAN DO)


SOAP EQUIPEMENT :
-SCALE
-HEAT SAFE MIXING BOWLS (ONE LARGE AND 1 MEDIUM)
-SILICON SPATULAS (ONE OR TWO IS FINE)
-STICK BLENDER
-MOLD (SILICONE OR WOOD)


INGREDIENTS:
OILS : OLIVE OIL | COCONUT OIL | CASTOR OIL
BUTTERS : COCOA BUTTER
ADDITIVES : GROUND COFFEE | COCONUT MILK
FRAGRANCES : NO FRAGRANCE


SOAP MAKING PROCESS​

STEP 1 - MEASURE OUT YOUR DISTILLED WATER AND YOUR LYE. PUT YOUR LYE WATER IN THE FRIDGE TO COOL DOWN (PUTTING IT IN THE FRIDGE IS OPTIONAL BUT IT DOES HELP THE LYE TEMPERATURE COOL DOWN FASTER AND SPEEDS UP THE PROCESS)
  • (DONT FORGET THE WATER DISCOUNT , WE WILL BE ADDING MILK IN THE TRACE PHASE)
STEP 2 - MEASURE YOUR HARD AND SOFT OILS TO MELT, I SUGGEST MELTING YOUR HARD OILS AND THEN ADDING YOUR SOFT OILS INTO THAT (REASON WHY IS BECAUSE YOUR MELTED HARD OILS WILL ALREADY BE HOT AND YOUR ROOM TEMPERATURE SOFT OILS WILL HELP COOL THE TOTAL OILS BETTER)
STEP 3 - ADD BOTH OILS TOGETHER
STEP 4 - MEASURE YOUR MILK AND SET IT ASIDE
STEP 5 - WITH A STRAINER , POUR YOUR LYE WATER SOLUTION INTO YOUR OILS (JUST IN CASE THERE IS ANY LYE THAT DIDNT GET DISSOLVED IN THE WATER THE STRAINER WILL CATCH THAT)
STEP 6 - WITH A STICK BLENDER , MIX YOUR OILS AND LYE WATER JUST PAST EMULSION. ( THIS MEANS WHEN THE WATER AND OILS ARE FULLY MIXED IN TOGETHER)
STEP 7 - AT A VERY LIGHT TRACE , ADD YOUR MILK TO THE BATCH. ( YOU CAN SEPARATE YOUR BATCH INTO TWO IF YOU WANT THAT CREATE A SWIRL OR LAYERED EFFECT OR JUST ADD YOUR MILK TO THE ENTIRE BATCH)
STEP 8 - ADD YOUR COFFEE GROUNDS
STEP 9 - BLEND UNTIL YOU REACH YOUR DESIRED TRACE ( I LIKE A MEDIUM TRACE , I CAN MANIPULATE THE SOAP PERFECTLY AND ALMOST INSTANTLY START TEXTURING)
STEP 10 - POUR YOUR BATCH INTO YOUR MOLD ( HERE IS WHERE YOU CAN GET CREATIVE WITH BOTH YOUR BATCHES IF YOU'VE DECIDED TO SEPARATE THEM)
STEP 11 - CLEAN UP ANY MESS AROUND YOUR MOLD AND TEXTURE IT (IF IT'S NOT READY TO TEXTURE LET IT SIT FOR 3-5 MINUTES AND COME BACK)
STEP 12 - ADD YOUR COFFEE GROUNDS AT THE TOP OF YOUR SOAP (THIS IS OPTIONAL)
STEP 13 - ADD YOUR SOAP TO THE FREEZER FOR 24H TO AVOID THE GEL PHASE (OPTIONAL) THIS IS OPTIONAL
STEP 14 - AFTER 2 DAYS REMOVE THE SOAP FROM MOLD AND PREPARE TO CUT YOUR SOAP
STEP 15 - PUT CUT SOAP IN A COOL AND VENTILATED AREA AND LET IT CURE FOR 3-4 WEEKS
