Notes:
Dilute lye in equal amount water. Dilute salt in remaining liquid amount of coconut milk to make 25% solution. Combine the 2 after lye mix cools to avoid burned coconut milk.
add EOs to clay (enough to absorb EOs) and let sit for an hour before adding at trace
sugar is 1 tsp PPO. (per 500g of oil)

To calculate salt amount:
Lye saturate liquid 1:1.
Salt saturate liquid 1:3 - 25% solution.
*25% salt solution means 25% salt, 75% liquid. It does NOT mean 25% OF liquid. It is 25% of total solution. Therefore a 25% solution would be 25g salt dissolved in 75 grams water. Not 100 grams water.
Therefore, to calculate salt amount:
Liquid req'd - NaOH req'd = liquid left over to create saturated salt solution (L)
L / 3 = amount of salt required to make 25% solution.

For example, for 2590g of final product,
Liquid req'd - 525g
Lye req'd - 225g (will be dissolved in equal part water)
525 - 225 = 300g (left over liquid amount to saturate with salt which I'll use coconut milk)
300/3 = 100g (amount of salt needed that will be dissolved in coconut milk to make 25% solution)
Therefore:
Water 225
Lye 225
coconut milk 300 (200g canned coconutmilk + 100g water)
salt 100g (powdered himalayan and sea combo)
sugar 3.5 tsp

For brine soap, I calculate it as usual for lye concentration, but I usually work with 30% lye concentration in that case. I measure out the water that's needed to dissolve the lye (that's about equal to the amount of lye), and make a saturated salt solution with the rest of the water. I forget, but I think it's about 26% salt solution -- that is, 26% salt in that rest of the water.
E.g.: let's assume I need 50g lye for my soap. To have a 30% lye solution, I need ca. 115g of water. I dissolve the lye in 50g of water, which means I'll have 65g of water left. Now, I want to have a 26% salt solution with that 65g of water, so I have to add 23g salt to it (23g salt in 65+23=88g solution -- 23/88=ca. 26).
But actually you don't have to do all the math, just dissolve in your leftover water as much salt as it can dissolve, and strain out the rest. (If you don't strain it out that's fine too; it will have some extra salt in it.)
