Shea body bar - Cranberry or Rose

Notes:
I'm going to use a hot process method, and I'll add the essential oils, mixed with the zinc and austrailian clay after the soap is cooked and still warm. Then the soap will be placed in the mold.
Note: Adding sodium lactate to lye water (1 tsp /1 ld of soap) will help to harden soap and with fluidity. Adding yogurt, 1 tbsp per pound of oil, will help with soap fluidity. Note: add sodium lactate and yogurt to cooled lye solution just prior to mixing with your warmed oils. Adding madder root powder to create a pink shade (2 tsp/1 1lb of soap). Check link at Soap Queen to see shade variations. https://www.soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/tips-and-tricks/using-madder-root-powder
Mix soap to full trace and transfer to crock pot and continue to mix until it reaches the gel phase and starts to break up into lumps. Cover and continue to cook.
Once soap is finished cooking 1 to 2 hours, remembering to keep crock pot on lowest setting, add essential oils and blend.
Then divid batter into three containers. One container will be colored with zinc oxide, which is dispersed in sweet almond oil. The other container will be colored with 1 tsp of Austrailian red reef clay, disperesed in sweet almond oil. The last container will be left uncolored.
Pour the soap into the mold in alternating layers and do a chop stick swirl.
Create a hanger with a old coat haner and a straw over it.
Put your soap mold in the freezer to cool and preserve colors and scent.

The following floral blend was used:
7% patchoulie ( Indonesian) 2 g , 13% Palmarosa 4g, 13% Ylang Ylang III 3g, 13% Geranium 4g, 47% Lavender 40/42 12g, 7
The Essential Oil Blend on this soap was wonderful, but the soap was a bit soft, but nice on the hands. Love it.
