Autumn Harvest Goat Milk Soap

Reserve 1 tbsp of goat milk to dilute honey in and then freeze the rest
Mix 10 g kaolin clay with about 1 tablespoon of your measured recipe oil into a completely smooth slurry. Mix the slurry thoroughly into the melted oils.
Stir the prepared 15 g honey + reserved goat milk into the oils.
Measure fragrance into a cup and hold
Slowly add your calculated NaOH to the frozen/slushy goat milk while keeping everything cool. Once the lye solution has cooled to below about 120°F, stir in 10–12 g sodium lactate.
After adding lye solution to oils, use VERY short stick blending alternating by hand blending. STOP EARLY. As soon as you've reached a stable thin emulsion, put the stick blender down.
Add fragrance and hand stir only
If coloring, at thin emulsion, before adding fragrance, split off about 15–20% for the cream portion. Color the remaining portion pumpkin/terracotta. Divide the fragrance proportionally between the two portions and hand-stir it in.
Reserve milk for honey → freeze remaining goat milk → melt oils → kaolin into oils → diluted honey into oils → make milk/lye → sodium lactate into cooled lye → lye into oils → blend ONLY to thin emulsion → hand-stir 30 g fragrance → pour → don't insulate.
