Notes:
- Mix lye with water and set aside to cool.
- Heat coconut, tallow, and shea until completely melted. Add olive oil and castor oil. Set aside to cool.
- Once lye water and oils have cooled, add sodium lactate to lye water then add lye water to oils and stick blend to emulsion.
- Keep blending until a reasonably thick trace is reached. Blend in activated charcoal, zinc oxide, French green clay, oatmeal, aloe vera, and essential oils. Use the immersion blender to be sure all the powdery clumps are broken up, ending in a smooth bar without lumps in it.
- Pour the soap into the mold.
- Blend the silver mica and 1 tsp light liquid oil in a small dish, then drizzle it over the soap. Use a toothpick to swirl the top, then discard toothpick.
- Cover, lightly insulate, and let saponify for ~24 hours before slicing.
- Age for at least 3-4 weeks before using.
