lye water
- weigh 143.11 g distilled water
- weigh 71.54g lye add lye to water stir and set aside 100-110 f
step 2
melt shea/coconut/olive in crockpot(low) cool to 100-110 F
add lye water and stick blend to thin trace
crockpot low 45-60 min. stir every 15 minutes done when vaseline/gel stage
step 3 add after cook- turn off heat wait 5 minutes
soaps drops to 160 or less
mix 10 g coconut milk powder plus 1 oz hot water smooth no clumps
stir in milk paste, 5g clay, 15g FO, 25g superfat oils. hand stir only
glop in molds
step 4 cut and cure
insulate 2-4 hours, cut in 4-6 hours cure for 2 weeks for harder bar
