- Measure the desired amount of silk (typically 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils). 5 tsp
- If using silk fibers, dissolve them in a small amount of warm water before adding.
- Incorporate the dissolved silk into your oils before mixing with lye.
- Blend thoroughly to ensure even distribution throughout the soap mixture.
- Proceed with your soap-making process as usual, pouring into molds and allowing to cure.
