Calendula, Honey, & Oat Milk Soap

This recipe is from Tellervo.
In this recipe, she used 600g total oil weight, and mine is 1800. So the following measurements have already been tripled.
Calendula petals (45g) add to olive oil (900g), and blended with immersion blender. Place this in a double boiler, or crock pot, or whatever, on low heat to infuse for several hours.
Blend some rolled oats with distilled water, (best practice is 4c oats to 4c water) and then strain. To this mixture, add 3tsp honey and 36g citric acid. Mix, and set aside.
Weigh out 264g lye (uses extra, because of the citric acid). Add this to 270g distilled water. Let this cool.
Essential Oils: 36g lime, 28.8g lavendar, 7.2g. lemongrass, 1.5g cedarwood. Add 1.5tsp cornstarch to this, because they are EOs and the cornstarch helps prolong the scent. Mix and set aside.
If using FO: I will use Oatmeal Milk & Honey FO from Bramble Berry. I used 81g with the batch made on 1/11/26. I put oats on top for decoration, and it started to turn colors right away. SHOULD HAVE USED CALENDULA PETALS! GAH!!

Melt oils together, and add oat milk and honey mixture. Pulse blend.
Add lye to oil mixture, then after blending a bit, add the EOs and pour into mold.

Notes for the batch made on 1/11/26:
I did not add the citric acid, because I opted for a fragrance oil instead of an essential oil. BUT I also neglected to recalculate the lye. So with this, I ended up with a lye-heavy bar, with closer to 0% superfat. This bar will likely be very stripping, but I can rebatch it, and add
