Red Palm Oil

How to Add It:​

1. Measure your distilled water for the lye solution.
2. Warm a small portion (about ¼ cup of that water).
3. Stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.
4. Let cool slightly, then add your lye slowly into this sweetened water (always lye into liquid!).
   • It will heat up faster than usual, so let it cool to your target temperature before mixing with oils.

• Dissolve sugar in 1–2 tbsp warm water, then stir it into your batter at light trace.
  • This is easier but less uniform — a few sugar crystals might remain.
