Basic Lotion Recipe: The finished pH of this recipe with all the extras was 6.5, if you want to lower it to 5, add a few drops of 50/50 citric acid/water solution to base.
454g Distilled Water (+ 34g if you're not making the niacinamide solution)--CHECK THIS EACH TIME
34g Glycerin
108g Liquid Oil
28g Emulsifying Wax
3.4g Vit E oil
3.4g Preservative Extras
13.6g Niacinamide Powder
34g Distilled Water (mixed w/ niacinamide)
7g Hyaluronic Acid Powder
3.4g Caffeine Extract or
72% Distilled Water
5% Glycerin
16% Liquid Oils
4% Emulsifying Wax .
5% Vit E Oil
.5% Preservative
2% Niacinamide Powder ( 1% Hyaluronic Acid & .5% Caffeine Extract, based on total volume
MADE 6/26/25 ‘oatmeal milk and honey’ fragrance BB (2.5 %) 3 gr.
used hyaluronic serum 3 g.
next time: make sure the water is hot before mixing with oils. I was afraid it would not set up b/c the water was only about 125 degrees.
put in pumps--almost 3 @ 8 oz. each
