Can't add purchase

I went to add my delivery to my purchases and there were no suppliers to select from. So I added a new supplier and tried to move on but then there are no base oil types either. There are no choices in ANY of the categories either.

You can’t click “add new” and add your supplies and your supplies? I’m not sure I understand.
I use different supplies than you do, and different products I’m sure, so I click “add new” and add my supplies one by one. Once they are in there, you won’t have to do it again, only for new products or suppliers.

The lists were already populated. I've been doing this for months and thus is the first time there is no list of products and it wants me to add new. Why do I all the sudden need to add the oil and it's sap Val to a list that last week had all the values already there? I used to have 6 suppliers and now there are none and even after I save the "new" supplier (that I already had saved but had to add again today) it won't save it.
